Gloria was a beloved mother of Juan, Tony and Lucy Cepeda. She also was the best guela to Tasha-Ann Yamasta, Tamara Cisneros and Marcus Cepeda and the greatest great grandmother (g.g.) to Jaiden Cisneros.
Our Guela was the best person to teach all of her children life lessons to which we will never forget and always use. She made every family gathering special with her wonderful tasting cooking skills. The holidays were not special if we didn't have all of her delicious Cuban food and of course salsa blasting through every speaker available. Her broken english always made us smile and laugh because she reminded us of Ricky Ricardo (as her daughter would greet her with "Gloria I'm HOME!".
There are not enough words to describe how much she meant to all of us and how much we will miss her. She was a great and very creative woman who loved and cared for her family. She was a woman who stood strong for what she believed. She lived a wonderful and beautiful life (The woman had NO WRINKLES! Ha ha).
May she rest in peace and we look forward to seeing her again, but until that day comes may all of us live a wonderful and beautiful life as our guela would have wanted us to.
God Bless
